Which witch?

I’m in the midst of research for my WIP and have been poring over volumes of witch lore. Here’s a dichotomy— The Spiral Dance and the Hammer of the Witches.

They both educate and offer insights into the rituals of witches.  Yet they couldn’t be more different. The Spiral Dance is a celebration of life whereas the Hammer details how to bring death.

The misogyny contained in the Hammer is revolting. Yet as a researcher, I must read all sides and only then can I derive meaning.
